Amager Strandpark is a newly developed part of Copenhagen with a unique location due to a mix of coastal landscapes, sea views, good infrastructure and close proximity to the city center.

Amager Strandpark was a major redevelopment project which went from an old industrial area to 53,000 m2 of residential, retail and commercial space.

More than 15,000 m2 was sold to pension funds and operated as a rental property portfolio. 43,000 m2 of townhouses, condominiums, small shops and commercial units have successfully  been built and delivered.

The remaining areas are currently under construction and consist of 4,900 m2 of residential space and 4,600 m2 of commercial space.

40 unique and popular townhouses with Copenhagen’s best beach in the back yard. The architect’s goal was to recreate, in a modern setting, the old Danish village atmosphere from the nearby Dragør.

It was the architect’s ambition to create a landmark out of Strandtårnet and its 26 luxury apartments and 2 commercial spaces. An architectural lighthouse accommodating urban people’s desire to combine the facilities of a big city with the feeling of living in nature, by the seaside.

Groning, the architect behind the project imagined a “great ship” whose well illuminated apartments have views over the city of Copenhagen on one side and the sea (Oresund) on the other. The project, located across from the nicest beach in Copenhagen consists of 35 luxury condominiums and 7 retail shops.

IrmaByen is Rødovre's new, vibrant city district that offers sense of community and allows for new stories to be told - with a name that keeps the past alive. IrmaByen is built where the grocery chain Irma's old domicile was located.

IrmaByen is characterized by exciting and varied architecture with an attractive location in beautiful, green surroundings, located only eight kilometers from the City Hall Square in Copenhagen.

Approximately 1,000 new homes of a total of 135,000 m2 will be built. When IrmaByen is fully developed in a few years, Rødovre's new district will house around 3,000 residents.

17,300 m2 of residential, retail and commercial space is currently under construction.

Four tower blocks with 73 condominiums in total. The architecture of the buildings is inspired by Irma’s strong identity and firm values; quality, sense of responsibility and eye for simplicity. This reveals itself on the sturdy facades rising in solid, cubic shapes broken by terraced levels, creating visual variations and quality, protected outdoor spaces.

With a unique location directly to IrmaByen’s own park, Den Grønne Kile, outdoor space and views have been an important factor in the creation of Parkkanten.
