Our commercial portfolio, 34,000 sq m in total consists of mainly offices, shops and cafes in the greater Copenhagen area. The commercial portfolio amounts to around 53% of our total portfolio if we include residential buildings under construction.
Including the project under construction, our portfolio consists of around 29,000 sq m of rental apartments located in popular neighbourhoods mainly in the Greater Copenhagen area. Residential space accounts for 45% of our overall portfolio.

Our Philosophy

Our portfolio across Denmark and Sweden comprises residential, commercial and retail properties. They are in sought after locations that are easily tenantable, they offer growth opportunity and are well maintained properties.However, buildings are not just assets to us – they are products developed for our customers’ needs, tailored to different demographics; providing them with a new level of convenience. This adds to the value of our buildings by giving them social capital; ensuring their integration into the local community.
All new ALFA rental buildings are environmentally certified (DGNB Gold or similar) and we do LCA calculations on all buildings. We put emphasis on circularity for all aspects of the building, and use other certifications such as Eco Swan Label and Nordic Sustainability Charter where suitable. We renovate and maintain all of our portfolio with a focus on moving towards environmentally friendly buildings and green certification for renovated buildings as well. Great focus is being placed on making better choices and improving the performance of our buildings in operations.ALFA Development has nearly 3 billion DKK in assets, and is well capitalized with 1,5 billion DKK in equity. We have strong relationships with preferred, reliable partners to add value across the entire development process. Our consistent focus is on high quality, innovation and sustainability. While Living by Alfa is a project within the Irmabyen Community, it also represents a strategic new area for ALFA Development.
