Smedeland 6 is the name of the commercial property that the real estate company ALFA Development has acquired as of 31 December 2021. The plan is to convert the property, which has so far been used for commercial purposes, into a 15,000 sq m residential area. This will happen with a specific focus on sustainability, quality of life and biodiversity as part of a larger master plan for the 160 acres Hersted Industripark.

In 2021 the investment company ALFA Ventures Aps was established as a sister company to ALFA Development with the ambition to contribute to a transformation in the industry towards more sustainable and customer-oriented solutions. The latest investment was made in the proptech company Wise Home, which i.a. provides fully automated consumption accounting for electricity, water and heating.

Just under a year before the last residents move in, ALFA now affirms that the Nordic Swan Ecolabelled project, Trongården, is sold out. The neighbourhood is already buzzing with life and a strong sense of community. During the summer of 2022, ALFA's first development project north of Copenhagen will be completed.
